Lauren Cohen, PhD
Professor Cohen is a leading authority on behavioral finance and stock returns. His research has identified opportunities to earn higher stock returns by decoding insider purchases, understanding firm economic links, monitoring shorting demand, finding mis-valued innovation, analyzing complicated firms, and other sources.
Dr. Cohen is a Professor of Finance at Harvard Business School. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, and earned a B.A. and B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. His prior experience includes serving in editorial roles for finance journals such as the Review of Financial Studies, serving as an academic advisor to firms such as Quadriserv, and teaching at Yale University.
